Approximately 1/2" ThickMy adventure sluice showed up last night so today I set it up on my little recirculating garage setup. I ran 15# of 10- only using this sluice. There wasn't much gold in this dirt and I knew that going it, it is also light weight small flake. I was able to run through all of the material very quickly, all the visible gold that was captured was in the top 2-3 inches of the adventure sluice. I panned the tailings twice and both times found no more gold. I am very impressed and will be using this going forward for my small garage set up and will be looking to put dream mats on my back pack sluice as well.
I am not a pro by any means but if you are on the fence I'd recommend pulling the trigger.

Wanted to say thank you Tim just received my adventure sluice and I can't wait to try it out. This sluice will work great for prospecting..it's light backpackable and very reasonably priced. This will be great for my prospecting needs thanks again for such a great product!
There's more to pixie dust than gold.
Just the ticket for reducing soil samples from volcano blast zones. I use it in developing a tattletale protocol for granodiorite eruptions. Helps me distinguish between two different magmas we are blessed with here. It's like using a variable-mesh gillnet to sample fish populations to cover the range. Let Mother Nature do the tedious sifting and sorting and leave the rest in the creek for her little critters. Take some, leave more. Great portability, but a little small for my needs but just about there. I put it in tandem with a modified banjo pan until a more tuned-in size comes along. 24 x 6 or 8 seems just right for my needs but still experimenting. Keep up the great work guys!
